How It All Started

SnoCorner is rooted in family, love, and place. Founded by Ashley Monconduit, the concept is inspired by her parents, Kim and Michel, who have been happily married for nearly 40 years and created a childhood rich in culture, joy, and meaningful experiences for their family.

Ashley grew up in Long Beach, like her mother, while her father grew up in New Orleans. Together, those two cultures shaped a strong sense of identity, tradition, and celebration. The food, desserts, and gatherings that defined her childhood became lasting memories.

SnoCorner is a fusion of those two worlds, created to keep those feelings alive and to share them with the community. Located on 17th and Atlantic, where Ashley’s family has long been rooted, that history is felt not only in the space itself, but in the desserts served and the joy shared with the neighborhood.

A Family Corner

Our shop sits inside a building that has been in Ashley’s family since the 1970s. It has been home to her grandparents’ real estate office, her mom’s financial practice, and now SnoCorner. It’s a true family landmark, sitting right across from Long Beach Poly High School where Ashley and her sister Rachel graduated.
